Airside Facilities Training provides knowledge of Related Legislation, Airport, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Airport Markings and Signs, Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, Pavement Construction, Hotmix and Concrete, Building Structure Construction, Maintenance of Building, Facilities, and Infrastructure, Planning, Analysis and Evaluation of Airside Facilities
Objectives:
This training for airport personnel is intended to provide proven knowledge and expertise in maintaining, repairing, analyzing, planning, and evaluating airside facilities to obtain an Expert Level Airside Facility license/rating

- Able to explain and draw markings and signs in the movement area
- Able to explain and calculate Soil Mechanics and Foundation Techniques

- Able to explain and calculate Hotmix and Concrete
- Able to explain Building Structure Construction
- Able to explain and implement Airside Facilities Maintenance and Reporting procedures
- Able to plan and evaluate the work and analyze minor and major damage to airside facilities

Participant Requirements:
- Senior High School or equivalent, with a work period of 15 years in related field
- Diploma I in civil engineering/architect/similar, with a service period of 13 years in related field
- Diploma II in civil engineering/architect/similar, with a service period of 10 years in related field
- Diploma III in civil engineering/architect/similar in related field
- Physically, mentally healthy and not color blind (stated by a doctor’s certificate government)
