The establishment of Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya began with the utilization of assets from Regional Office III of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Surabaya, in 1989, under the name Balai Diklat Penerbangan Surabaya. This was in accordance with Minister of Transportation Decree No. 22 of 1989, regarding the organization and administration of the Surabaya Aviation Education and Training Center.
Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya is proud to hold two prestigious ISO certifications: ISO 9001 and ISO 21001. The ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality management across all institutional processes.
