
BAMBANG DRIYONO
Born in Pekalongan, Central Java, on March 5, 1971, Dr. Bambang Driyono completed his education by obtaining Diploma II and III degrees from the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He got his bachelor’s degree from Mercu Buana University in Jakarta in 1999 and then went on to get his bachelor’s degree in engineering. Furthermore, he attained his master’s degree in management from the Muslim University of Indonesia in 2019. In 2023, he earned a doctorate (S3) from Makassar State University.
Dr. Driyono commenced his career in aviation education and has served as a lecturer since 2006 at various vocational education institutions under the Ministry of Transportation. Throughout his career, he has held several significant structural positions, including head of the Airport Electrical Engineering Study Program, secretary of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, and compiler of the Learning Program.
He has been given the job of Deputy Director II at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic starting in 2024. In addition to his structural responsibilities, he also functions as a lecturer, holding the position of lector.
Dr. Driyono actively participates in various training programs and seminars, having garnered over 50 certificates of competence and professional development, both domestically and internationally. His international experience encompasses study visits to Singapore and Malaysia, focusing on topics such as education quality control, internal audit, learning technology, and management of educational digital transformation.
With a multidisciplinary academic background, extensive field experience, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of vocational education, Dr. Bambang Driyono is a significant contributor to the advancement of human resources in the air transportation sector in Indonesia.
