PARJAN

Born in Lamongan, East Java, he completed his education at the Indonesian Civil Aviation Institute (Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia), earning both a Diploma III and a Diploma IV in Airport Electrical Engineering between 1999 and 2006. He then pursued further studies, obtaining a Master of Engineering in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 2009. He began his doctoral program (Ph.D.) in vocational education at the State University of Surabaya in 2021 and is still going strong.

His career began in 2002 at the Indonesian Civil Aviation Institute in Curug, where he served as an instructor and cadet supervisor. Between 2002 and 2016, he held several key positions, including Head of the Dormitory Unit, Head of the Cadet Guidance Unit, and Commitment-Making Officer (Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen). Since 2011, he has also been active as a lecturer, achieving the academic rank of Assistant Expert.

From 2016 to 2021, he served as the Head of the Education Standardization Subdivision in the Human Resources Development Center for Air Transportation. He was appointed Head of Administration, General Affairs, and Educational Facilities at the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic from 2021 to 2022.

Between 2022 and mid-2024, he held the position of Head of Academic Administration and Student Affairs at the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic. As of mid-2024, he has been entrusted with the same role at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic.

He has been known as a disciplined and dedicated professional in cadet development and academic system management in aviation vocational education for a long time. His extensive experience in aviation education establishes him as a key contributor to character building and the enhancement of human resource quality in Indonesia’s air transportation sector.
