Diploma 3 Air Traffic Controller is a specialized diploma program in the field of aviation that focuses on Air Traffic Management and Air Traffic Control. The program was officially established on March 10, 2016, under the Decree No. 123/KPT/2016.
The study program was initially accredited with a "B" rating, with the program code 39404, as stated in the BAN-PT Accreditation Decree No. 002/BAN-PT/Ak-X/Dpl-III/V/2010, dated April 30, 2010. In the 2015 re-accreditation process, the program maintained its "B" rating in accordance with BAN-PT Decree No. 0100/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/DiplIII/III/2016.
The most recent re-accreditation was conducted on March 6, 2021, and based on the accreditation certificate issued by BAN-PT under Decree No. 1335/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/Dipl-III/III/2021, the program once again received a "B" accreditation rating, which is valid until March 6, 2026.

- Deliver vocational education in the field of Air Traffic Services based on scientific knowledge and internationally standardized aviation competencies, producing graduates who are skilled, professional, and possess high integrity;
- Conduct research in the field of Air Traffic Services to advance science and technology, resulting in innovative, visionary, and impactful contributions;
- Carry out community service activities to enhance public knowledge, both in the vicinity of the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic and within the broader aviation community;
- Establish productive partnerships with various stakeholders to support the improvement of academic quality, graduate competencies, and the strengthening of institutional resources.

Description:
A 12-screen simulator arranged in a 360-degree circular configuration. This simulator can display various airport layouts used for tower control simulation exercises. In practice, the tower simulation aims to manage aircraft within the vicinity of the aerodrome. It is also equipped with an FPS holder, as well as screens displaying wind speed and direction information.
