Overview
The Basic Certificate Airframe Helicopter Training (A2) is a training program designed to provide fundamental knowledge and skills in the maintenance and repair of helicopter structures. To ensure that maintenance and inspection activities are carried out in accordance with procedures, the mechanic involved must hold a license as required by CASR 65.

Requirements
- Minimum formal education of high school/equivalent
- Physically and mentally healthy (stated by a certificate from a government doctor)
